Joe DeMeo (far right), a standout Schenectady wrestler who competed for Cornell University, coached at Stanford University and the University at Albany, founded the Adirondack Three-Style. He resided in Niskayuna, New York after his retirement.ĭeMeo graduated from Mont Pleasant High School in Schenectady, New York in 1960 and wrestled at Cornell University. DeMeo founded the Adirondack Three-Style Wrestling Association which created multiple Greco-Roman champions.
